This is a smaller, focused release centered on issuer trust, learner consent, and the data used by LearnCard’s AI experiences.

LC-1896: Apply to Become a Trusted Issuer

Organizations and credential issuers now have a direct path to apply for Trusted Issuer status.

A new Issuer Status card shows whether a profile is currently recognized as trusted. Issuers who have not yet been verified can open an application form directly inside LearnCard, with key profile information filled in automatically.

The same application is accessible from credential issuer details, connecting the trust information learners see with a concrete next step for issuers.

LC-1823: More Transparent AI Data Sharing

LearnCard’s AI features now use a dedicated ConsentFlow contract, separating AI-related data access from general network participation.

This gives learners a clearer relationship between their AI Features setting and the information they have consented to share. Disabling AI features withdraws access from the AI contract, while enabling them reconnects the required permissions.

The Data Sharing experience also received several improvements:

• Newer contracts appear first.

• Revoked access disappears from the connected-contract list correctly.

• AI connection and disconnection states provide clearer feedback.

• Contract administrators can inspect contract details and reuse an existing contract as a template.

This release establishes the consent and data foundation for incorporating Skills Profile information into future AI recommendations. The recommendation behavior itself arrives in a later release.
