This release makes it easier to add recipients, helps learners connect after exchanging credentials, and improves several important mobile experiences. It also strengthens the security foundation behind AI Passport.

Scan a LearnCard Profile to Add a Recipient

When issuing a credential or using Boost a Friend on the LearnCard mobile app, you can now scan someone’s LearnCard profile QR code to add them as a recipient.

A valid profile is added immediately, without requiring you to search for or enter the person manually. LearnCard provides clear feedback for invalid codes, duplicate recipients, camera-permission problems, and attempts to scan your own profile.

The scanner itself has also been redesigned with a focused scanning area, clearer instructions, accessible controls, and visible success or error messages.

Connect After Claiming a Credential

Claiming a credential can now become an opportunity to connect with the person who sent it.

After a credential is claimed, the recipient may see an optional prompt to connect with the sender. The sender can also receive an actionable notification when the credential is claimed.

Claiming a credential does not automatically create a connection. Either person must explicitly choose Connect, and Skip for Now dismisses future prompts between that pair.

The experience is available in English, Spanish, French, and Arabic.

A Smoother Mobile Experience

This release includes several improvements across LearnCard’s mobile interface:

• Onboarding no longer scrolls horizontally on iOS, and focused fields remain visible when the keyboard opens.

• The Dashboard now provides direct access to your profile and notifications.

• Mobile headers provide clearer page context as you scroll through the Dashboard and Apps.

• Passport discovery filters and several interface details received additional visual polish.

Stronger AI Passport Authentication

AI Passport now uses challenge-based authentication instead of relying on identifiers supplied directly by the application.

Short-lived, single-use access protections secure each connection while maintaining compatibility during the rollout. This creates a stronger foundation for trusted AI experiences without adding new steps for learners.
