Internal mobility systems lack engagement largely due to the sentiment that any progress would be lost in a transition. If LC were the cartridge that offers the HRIS a nonprofit “ownership” over user data portability, users may feel more empowered to use it knowing that it will power the internal mobility system they enter into next.

    This might be multiple parts using the HR Open LER-RS standard for integration with HRIS and the Skills WG API being discussed now.

      I think in order to drive adoption by enterprises, this has to be an “on your way out” kind of benefit. They probably won’t want two-way data streams…

      Are you aware of a good way / resource for us to demonstrate support for LER-RS — and open platform or sample credentials for us to benchmark and ensure support in LearnCard?

      https://www.hropenstandards.org/ler-rs doesn't seem to have much actionable info.

      Given that LER-RSs are packaged into CLRs/OBv3, we likely have a lightweight support for them already in LC. But it would be valuable to aligned with robust support.

      Is the primary flow:

      External system > sends LER-RS into LearnCard for storage and sharing.

      Or, is it also important:

      User has many credentials in LC, and LearnCard can package them up into a shareable LER-RS?
