Organizations will be able to deliver sensitive credentials more securely and handle large issuance runs, such as end-of-semester transcripts. This work builds on LearnCard’s Universal Inbox with stronger credential protection and scalable delivery.

Broader standards interoperability

LearnCard will verify and exchange credentials across more standards profiles and partner ecosystems, improving compatibility among wallets, issuers, and verifiers.

Turn documents into credentials

We are exploring simple ways for people and partners to turn resumes, learning records, and other documents into structured credentials that can be used in LearnCard. This work is in active discovery; the final workflow and supported document types are not yet committed.

Flow to Request Credentials from Other User

In LearnCard app, add the ability to request specific credentials from another user. The other user receives a notification with your request, and can selectively share credentials back to you.

Integrate with Smart Resume's CredentialConnect API (by July 20th)

Smart Resume has developed the CredentialConnect API to have better functionality around various aspects of transferring & sharing credentials between wallets. The documentation for integrating with SmartResume via CredentialConnect can be found here: https://my.smartresume.com/api/v1/docs There are a few specific actions associated with this as well (from SmartResume’s Partner Agreement): Provide SmartResume team with final partner test credentials and both partner and SmartResume test Production environment to ensure smooth launch.  Recommend doing final testing one week prior to planned launch.
